Cable Protection Systems

Conductix-Wampfler’s cable protection systems Trenchguard and the new designed CoverZIP protect main power supply cables from damaging caused by port vehicles crossing the runway of  cranes in container terminals,  bulk  ports or even steel mills.

Cables unwound from  motor-driven cable reels and laid down in a trench are not only safeguarded against loads, but also shielded from environmental conditions and from spillage or other objects entering the trench.

The continuous flexible belt that covers the trench allows the  crane to move at any speed. The belt is returned to its closed position as soon as the  crane has passed.
